What height and type of run?
At our last place the run we built for our GSD was 8 feet high and the surround was plastic coated wire mesh. He managed to jump out a couple of times.
Now we have our new pup we want to make sure this one can’t do it. How high do you think we could get away with? Commercial runs tend to come in panels that are a maximum of 8 feet so it looks like we will need to build it ourselves again in order to get higher. The alternative is building a smaller run and roofing it but don’t really want to do that as I want him to have as large a run as possible – 24′ x 10′ minimum. It is a possibility that he was able to scramble up the wire meshing so would you recommend the bar panels instead?
Is there a UK company you would recommend?
Try chicken wire on the top, that way you will still have open air roof. Make sure it’s not under a tree with leaves that fall off or you will have extra clean up.
