Swivel seats Disability Aids

In the past 25 years, the design and manufacture of sophisticated swivel seats has been a breakthrough for people with disabilities or reduced mobility. There are seats swivel to suit the exact needs and types of vehicle. The ability to transfer a seat from one car to another means that when you buy a new car, there is no need to buy another.

The most basic seats available is the manual slewing. Pulling a simple lever allows the seat is manually turned through approximately 90 degrees, making it easier to support either up or make a slip embark on a wheelchair or scooter. All basic swivel seats usually come with sliding rails that the user can position the seat for optimal comfort transport. The seat can be used on either the passenger or driver side. The latest advance in disability support swivel seats in the vehicle seat becomes his wheelchair seat, eliminating the need to transfer from one residence to another. This makes entering and exiting cars without effort. When traveling, the base unit is stowed conveniently and neatly in the trunk of the vehicle.

There are three versions available, as follows:

• Transit Wheelchair 'A', for the wheelchair user is pushed by an attendant, while away from home.
