Solid Wood

Solid Wood

Solid wood or laminate countertop (I have two young children and a busy house occupied)?

I love the look of a solid wood worktop, but I have fear that my house is so unruly. Is a delicate thing, stains etc. My house looks like a tornado has gone through that sometimes. Should I get a sheet to children to move out?

Solid wood any day! Laminate is inexpensive, and done quickly. Will be spent in a matter of months, chips easily and need to be replaced more frequently. Solid wood is more expensive, but take the blows, you can see even better after a period wear, can return to the surface of the wood simply sanded and polished again, and above all, will last a lifetime.
