Rubber Stamp Wooden

Rubber Stamp Wooden
Hello. I waqs Formica asked if I can put in a large wooden desk older?

I just bought this wooden conference table that is in its original, which is excellent with only slight discoloration. However, I bought it to use as a craft table for rubber stamping and scrapbooking workshops. The room is lavender with white of my seat and all the other furniture in the room a bright white. I've been told I'm crazy for wanting to finish this piece but I do not buy it for an inheritance, I bought it for a purpose and I am a matchy-matchy real type of person ……. Can anyone help me with this? I wonder if I can cover Formica laminate desk? I know this is what I use on counters and this tends to keep forever. Any help with this and / or a reference in the Cleveland, Ohio area would great! Thank you very much for your time. Nicole:)

Yes, you can adhere Formica (laminated) to the Desk Top. You can order a part after to look through the laminate samples at your local home center. Want to buy the flexible sheet of laminated and non pre-shaped counter. Finally, bring along dimensions that you order a piece large enough to cover the top with a little more about him. The desk should be smooth and flat and sanded and ready for installation of laminate. The Formica is attached to a type of contact cement and you can easily find the installation instructions online. You will need cut the laminate with a router with a laminate bit to clean the edges. If you pay attention to proper preparation and having the right tools on hand ( you can rent), you can complete this project. Have fun. What a great idea you have there!
