Rubber Cement

Rubber Cement

If I rubber cement paper to a CD, will the CD be damaged?

I’m making a CD for somebody for the holidays… And I wanted to rubber cement a piece of paper to the front of the CD (with the tracklist, album art, etc.). I wasn’t sure if the rubber cement would damage the CD, though.

Does anybody know if it will?

While pre-cut CD labels are best, preferably with a CD Stomper, there are a couple of alternatives you could use.
One is if you have sticker sheets … use that, but you have to be careful putting it on.

Or .. use the paste type glue sticks, like you use in an office or in school … they dont damage the CD’s, and I have not had them come unglued, even over 5-6 years. Be careful not to get glue on the read side of the CD!
