What is the best we can restore the BIOS upgrade?

I have an HP Pavilion dv6000, I've had it for 19 months and has been working well and apart from the heat to come from the keyboard and hand-rest/mouse-pad. Some time ago I sent an email from HP send me a link to the BIOS version F.3d upgrade, but I did not apply because I thought that if works do not fix it and I'm just a rookie. I contacted HP again and reset the BIOS mentioned. Has anyone heard of this solution to the problem of heat? It's just the heat problem I'm having problems with. When I started to carry out instructions not correspond to the steps and I escaped.

Reset the BIOS, it would be highly unlikely that an overheating problem is fixed unless someone overclocked had CPU or video card. The best way to fix the overheating would be to you, or someone who knows what they are doing to separate and clean the dust and stuff from the fans and the cooling system inside. Laptops get a lot of dust on them, sitting at his desk, sitting on the carpet where you take a drink or sit on your bed when you watch a movie at night. I can clean dust from the mines every 2 months.
