They can corrode Stainless Steel?

I've been using a Shun Classic Santoku knife every time you cook. Occasionally I find some specs mold in my knife the day after cleaning with soap and water. I thought the rust came from something that had touched the knife that could have oxidized but I think it is the rusty knife … even slightly. Stainless steel products are prone to rust?

Yes steel. does not mean that I can not spot but less staining. have to be careful to keep your steel parts dry and free water. and very clean. occasionally you can use a light oil in it, but not much. Aloy is made of steel and chrome.
