Thinking about starting bow hunting deer / bear, any advice for a beginner?

I work and live in northern Minnesota, and began hunting deer after moving here two years ago. I am thinking of buying a decent hunting rifle this summer (been borrowing one of your friends / family) but given the number of crazy southern MN / city hunters who come here during firearms season, I'm considering trying season archery next year. I'm only "5'1, and have the upper body strength from an average of 27 years of age, and I'm looking for advice more experienced archery hunters in the arches possible and necessary equipment for archery hunting. I have a portable stand, trail camera, and basic camo, so I'm the main information is looking forward styles, costs, arc recommended for novice hunters, and what to expect bowhunting (typical ranges for the beginner, the types of arrows for use, the amount of annual practices, and recommends any equipment that improves their game). If you have any advice, I would appreciate hearing, thanks.

To get into bow hunting, you have to be equipped properly. Bows are like shoes, one size does not fit all. Without proper fit, you will struggle to be exact. This is the most important aspect for a bow. You will need to visit a local pro shop or archery club in this advisory. My guess is that you will have about a tie "length of 24-25. Get a weight that is comfortable draw. You do not need a ton of draw weight to shoot deer or bears with.
