Page Markers

Page Markers
Microsoft Word 2003 I am not used to the word and I am sure that my question seems silly to people who know what?

are doing, but anyway …. How do you get the margins and tabs to stay where you put them. I'm trying to change the format of a document and I want the first line of each paragraph to be indented five spaces, but when I go through the page and tab markers margin to move when the margins and indents is on page I am trying to change the format, so after each paragraph formatted separately. Is not there an easier way?

How setting indents? No manually form the first line to the marker tab, and you have to tab all the paragraphs below. In Instead, the format of the paragraph so that automatically indents each paragraph. To set paragraph formatting, go to Format> Paragraph, and then set the "Special" for the first line indented. There is even a preview window with a sample of bleeding. But a more graphically easy even to move the indent markers wherever you want. First, the rule must be displayed. To activate the rule, go to the View Menu> Rule. It is also easier if you set the Print Layout view. See the horizontal ruler at the top of the page. Notice the small triangles left and right edges of the margins. The left side has three symbols. Carefully move the mouse over each one and tell you what they are. The up arrow down which represents the first line in paragraph begins. The central triangle symbol represents the left edge of the entire paragraph. Click the mouse on any of the symbols that they move along the ruler where you want. You can move by themselves. Click the square on the bottom to move the two indentations on the left at the same time. This will set the indents for the paragraph. When you press enter to start the next paragraph, have the same script. To change the scripts of the sections that are already on the page, select the first and then change the scripts and you can format all at the same time. If you put tabs at the beginning of paragraph, note that by changing the script, the tabs are moving too. That's because here is really character invisible on the page. That's why the pieces move and why not move here the next paragraph. Remove the chips and set indents for the indent markers.
