do you think shows like la ink give too many high expectations?

people see awesome tattoos on shows like that and then when they get one in real life it isn’t as good as on tv and they get disappointed. do you think these shows are making people expect too much from tattoos?

I don’t think so.
The tattoos on the show are amazing but if people go and get one and it isn’t as good they are going to sub-standard places.
I think its more people rushing into getting one because the show made it cool then raising expectations.
I’m perfectly happy with mine because I thought about it properly.
That’s my view anyway.
