Has anyone heard of a company called MW SAVAGE ACTS, Inc., which was in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1900?

I have a round table oak with this tag in it.

I have no knowledge of a particular company, although it is a very famous name in MN. Marion Savage was the owner the famous Dan Patch horse Pacer held the world record for many years. Savage, MN is named for him after it was originally Hamilton, also Lake Marion in Lakeville. There was a dispute about one of the best times of Dan Patch and MW Savage once used when he thought he should have been in the name of your business. If I remember correctly was the revision of Dan 1:15 and 1:05 power company. Many things were named Dan Patch and should not be a surprise that may have been furniture.
