Would you be insulted if your partner gave you a toilet roll holder for mother’s day? We did?
need a new one btw but I just wish he hadn’t bothered – does that sound ungrateful? Guess I just see it as something the whole family uses so for him to take the trouble to buy it and wrap it and give to me on a day meant to celebrate my being a Mum was a bit crass…
Ofcourse did the usual thanks and did not let on – but it has been bugging me – don’t want to hurt his feelings – just wondered what the answers consensus was?
