Why is it, Insurance Co. have a Law passed that an Insurance Co. must show a profit for their stock holder.?

Insurance Co. like Brown& Brown Inc. in Daytona, Florida have assets of $1,800,000,000 and $56,000,000 net profit every quarter, $56,000,000 every 3 months going to their stock holders. Are these “written in Law” profits the baulk of are Health Care cost.

They are a company, and they have investors (the stock holders). People buy stock in these, and other companies not to get “warm fuzzy feelings” about it, but to get a return on their investment. The more money they have returned, the more money and more stock holders will invest in that company.

Don’t like it? Think about how much worse it would be if the government ran it. Look how efficiently they bankrupted social security.
