Am I allowed to 802.1p on my NIC increased load on my CPU?

My teams all use Intel Pro desktop adapters 1000/MT and wondered if 802.1p enables them to increase the processor load … My Switch (DGS-2208) supports and the jumbo frame, which also allowed me (to reduce processor load, in theory). Thanks! Yes, but increases the packet size and not why. In addition, Windows time service quality is responsible for setting the bits in the package, so you must have to do some processing. No? I read a lot of, "in theory" and "how" things, but no comments real world on how it affects the performance .. at least not in a home environment at the consumer level. Additionally, the server and workstations are running on nforce2 old Athlon XP hardware ..

Erm … no, it is processed by the router or wireless adapter. EDIT: What we're asking has no sense. More Packages = More things sent, the CPU barely makes any job.
