How can I prevent my Stamp Pad from drying out?
I have a regular office-style Felt Stamp Pad and the darn thing is always drying out on me. I can’t seem to keep it from drying out, even when I keep it in a sealed ziploc bag!
I re-ink it with stamp pad ink; it dries out.
I’ve tried steaming it; it still dries out.
I’ve even tried applying distilled water with a foam brush; It still dries out.
When it dries out, the ink that has dried in the pad will not re-hydrate.
Even if I buy a new stamp pad, what can I do to prevent it from drying out, if keeping it in a ziploc doesn’t work?
Store it in a Ziploc bag with a small piece of sponge soaked in water then put it in the fridge.
