Are civilians allowed to film a police chase / arrest? Do you have a right to know the name or badge number?

I was watching a reality chops few shows and some of the officers got in the face, these people (shooting), at least 50 to 100 feet away from the scene, filming. Is this illegal? If police in the mistake of taking the camera down?

His main question, are civilians allowed to film a police chase and arrest? Allowed unless they interfere with the work of the police then arrest as simple as that. No, not entitled to know the name or logo / seal no. etc by the police. Civilians filming car chases are the rights of everyone to video them since the beginning of owning many of the camcorder is the dawn of the new era, where all the people who watch video, girls taking a bath, people sleeping in the house, etc … so there is no limit to the world of imagination. Like the late John Lennon song "Imagine" with a handheld camera in your hands, you have the world in him.
