How to use a package of insulation of windows when you have a window frame to tape it?

We would like to use an insulation kit windows to help keep out the cold air stream our home this winter. My question is how can hit the plastic, if you do not have a window frame to tape it? We only have the wall is painted with white texture that material so it's not smooth. Is the plastic still adhere to the wall, and it will damage the paint when the withdrawal? We rent, so you do not have the option to do something about it's own window or wall. Thanks!

You could get a small 2 "spatula and lightly scrap a smooth band around the window to join the film. When you come out you can buy a can of spray texture to spray again on the wall. I would recommend practicing on a piece of wood before spraying the wall.
