Why anything divided by 0 is infinity?

I'll have the help of an example. Suppose you have 10 pencils. I have to divide between two children.i have 5 pencils in each hand. pencils are now divided one child. to take all pencils.but 10 if we do not have to divide between them all? in my opinion, now we have 10 pencils.if there is a division of pencils how they can be infinite??

Infinity can be best explained as a number tiny or very tiny, so basically when you divide a number by a very small number, you get a great example Numbe 10 / 5 = 2 now 10 / 2 = 5 10 / 1 = 10 10 / 0.5 = 20 as the denominator is increasing the Right Side continues to grow. So if you divide by a number that small sample infinitesimallt 0.000000000001, then the answer will be very large, that is closer to infinity. Hope this helped
