The Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro is a masterfull little Smartphone!

The Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro is a compact Android Smartphone which includes many options when it comes to communication, whether it is via SMS or Facebook the Mini Pro has it covered. It comes complete with a slide out QWERTY keyboard integrated into the chassis for simple text and e-mail support. There are close similarities to other Xperia generation phones like the X10 Mini and Xperia X10. The device supports the Android 1.6 operating system and a dazzling 2.55 inch capacitive touch screen.

The noticeable distinction between the regular Mini and the Pro is the Mini Pro’s size. At a miniature 90 x 52 x 17mm and weighing in at just 120 grams its only 1mm thicker and 7mm taller than standard the X10 Mini. It needs its extra height and bulk to house the keyboard it hides so well within its body. Even with its larger dimensions the device still only has a 2.55 inch touch screen; the TFT scratch resistant screen has a bright colourful display with a 240 x 320 pixel screen resolution and support an auto rotate function. The touch user interface is very responsive and sharp allowing for easy navigation throughout the devices features.

Sony Ericsson’s X10 Mini Pro utilises the Infinite button, toggling this provides you with instant access to all of you friends, contacts and media. Speaking of media, this device as a competent media player with album art display and Bluetooth Stereo A2DP which allows provides a connection to compatible headsets for wireless listening. An integrated video player gives premium playback in WMV, MPEG4, H263 and H264 formats, the phone is even capable of video streaming. As for storing your media files, the handset has an SD slot for external memory of up to 16 GB; this means there is plenty of potential space to fill with songs, videos and images. The 5 mega pixel camera located on the back of the phones body has flash and auto focus allowing for high quality shots in any environment, video capture is also well within the Mini Pro‘s capabilities.

 The Sony Ericsson X10 mini Pro supports Wi Fi for quick web connection when in the vicinity of a wireless hotspot. High speed connectivity is also possible via the various 3G HSPDA networks which gives you the freedom of using other features at the simultaneously. The phone is compatible with various social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook; it’s also friendly with Google and YouTube. The X10 Mini Pro also has GPS navigation with the WisePilot application and Google Maps.

Sony Ericsson have given the X10 Mini Pro its trademark Timescape feature. When touching Timescape it gives you access to a variety of communication options, messaging, Facebook updates and Tweets, all available under the one application. Messaging and e-mailing is very easy when using the slide out QWERTY keyboard which is very sturdy considering its small size, the buttons feel solid and the pad is comfortable to navigate. Messages can be viewed as conversations as well as through your inbox and sent box compliments of Sony Ericsson.

The Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro is as much useable as it is aesthetically pleasing. Its operating system gives you a seamless skip from page to page and it’s a brilliant web browser. Not only would this delightful little device be a bold fashion statement due to its size and appearance it would also serve as a valuable tool when staying in touch, keeping up with a busy social schedule or even for entertainment.

For me Sony Ericsson are on to a winner with this model and im sure it will find its way into many pockets comfortably by the end of the year.

Ideas needed, making a film for final major project — best idea 10points?

I’m currently about to Finnish my 2nd college year and have to create a film, write an assignment or do something print based but I would like to do a film, I have created 2 previously which have been of pass/merit standard nothing special but I urgently need to get a merit whilst aiming for distinction. I have access to basic cgi I think and my equipment will be as follows..

my daughter studying media at uni is doing a short film and her group have come up bed leg which is fear of having your leg out of bed at night in case something is under the bed to grab it at end leg gets grabbed and they are pulled under bed to what noone will know lol
