Female teacher made me feel very uncomfortable? HELP.?

I have 16 and in grade 11, and today I went to the pre-cal as I do every day. I went into the classroom and misses the first of there. My male teacher was sitting at his desk and called me to him. Immediately I was confused because I am a good student and not had no reason to talk to me. But I did what was said and went from there. He smiled and put his had on my shoulder and said: "I am so happy to have you in my class. You are a great student, "etc. It was strange, but I had teachers tell me that before, but then stood up and hugged me about 20 seconds. It was uncomfortable and strange, and I felt uncomfortable about it. Then someone came in and he just went about doing business as it always does. Do you think this is inappropriate, or am I just over reacting? What should I do?

It is definitely a big red flag. You really should let your parents know so they can take care of him.
