Overcoming performance anxiety

Do you find yourself stressed because you feel you have to continue to demonstrate to others (and you) that you are a good husband, wife, employee, boss, friend, father, etc? If so, help is on the way! No need to struggle with anxiety. By the way, you're not alone. This is a very common problem.

For example, Phillip came for a counseling session, because he suffered from a high level of stress that was affecting their health, work, and relationships with loved ones. His doctor put him on medications for high blood pressure and often had severe indigestion. Insomnia was a common occurrence and he looked exhausted. His wife was rejected because it was usually too tired to be physically intimate. Phillip children also were suffering because they felt he was not there for them.

To begin to help him with the HART (Holistic and fast processing) processes, I asked Philip to close your eyes and breathe deeply several times. Once he was more relaxed, I asked him to say the words: "I am stressed because ___" and finish the sentence. The production of 42-year-old manager said: "I am stressed because I have to keep proving myself to everyone." I asked Philip to say: "Due to ___" and fill in the blank. "Because I'm not good enough" he replied. Now that we have identified the cause of your problem, then he said: "Let yourself go back to the time you made that decision and be there now." Where are you? What's happening? "

Phillip recalled one time when I was 5 years old. He was sitting on her bed and crying because it was sent to his room without supper. Phillip was trying Soon to help his sister with a school project, and he accidentally broke. Her parents yelled and called him dull and stupid. The child felt very bad.

Since then Philip was afraid of making a mistake again, and decided he had to do everything right, or would be hurt and rejected. Phillip imagine I was guided burning the scene with a laser beam, and take two deep breaths. Then I suggested to create the scene exactly as he wanted it to be.

Phillip imagined making the same mistake, and this time their parents are inclined to their level, hugged him and assured him that he was fine. Everyone sat at the table for dinner and enjoyed their dinner. Phillip immediately took a deep sigh of relief and decided from that experience was good enough and that's okay to make mistakes. I suggested to him which only focus on demonstrating their skills, confidence and love.

The following week, Phillip said he felt much better. His wife and children noticed the difference and enjoyed the loving husband and father. He even began to enjoy their work and the people working. With a smile on his face, he said, he had put the magic words on a sheet of paper in the drawer of his desk, "Phillip you are more than enough. Just show who you really are!"

When it feels good even though mistakes can relax and just do your best. We make mistakes, learn from them. Stress is just negative thinking. You can let go of trying to prove to himself and focus on demonstrating their love and skills. The truth is that you're good enough no matter what he says or does, and say what you do o.

Can anyone give me some decorating tips?

My wife is bedridden and we turned the living room into a room for her. The walls are light blue. Her quilt is dark red. She has a chess boxes, television, Computer Desk, small roll away bed in this room of 17 x 11. All furniture is made of light oak. Its poor are ceramic angels. What color curtains could use? The floors are hardwood. Any suggestions for decorations?

That is so great that to be doing all this for his wife. :) For the curtains, I would try to find a pattern that has both the blue and red light on it so you can mix the two together. If you can not find any color curtains you can find some fabric that adapting and making curtains. If you do not know anyone who sews just lay the fabric over the curtain rod and ties used to tie the curtains when he wants to let light in. If the is very thin fabric can bend or put a cheaper fabric (such as light blue or white) below a liner.
