Covered Swivel
What camera should I upgrade to? I have a Canon PowerShot A610 now.?
I am thinking of buying a better camera. I have a Canon PowerShot A610 unfortunately it broke after two years of use (my fault). He had an extended warranty that covered the camera has fallen, but unfortunately the camera is sent as a replacement for a PowerShot A560 feels cheap and does not have the swivel display comfortable. So I was going to sell that one and want to buy something nicer. I picked the A610 because it had good reviews, there was little delay in taking pictures and (for now) battery life. I'm not opening the camera ie pro and exposure are the things I prefer the figure of the camera for me. I can take pictures indoors and outdoors, but is seen far into the future Southwest probably more so outdoors. Any brand is fine, but I'd like to stay under $ 600. Thanks!
Given her experience with the 610, I suuggest you stay with Canon, buttons and a menu of all will be familiar to you. The A650IS is the latest version of the A610, and has the added benefit of stabilization Image (IS) to help eliminate hand movement that can cause blurry photos. If you want to move on to something with more zoom, take a look at the Canon S5 IS, which is slightly larger, but has the swivel screen and a big 12X zoom, which will be useful for outdoor photography.
