He replaced the basement two sections which are: 1 'x 5 ', however, three quarters "plywood today is slightly less than 3 / 4" Wafer Board, 1986. My question is, to achieve a level floor and I would use about 5 minutes of drying cement based patching compound, thin it a bit and fill in the <1 / 8 "difference. Would this work? I am also thinking in the use of Chisel Point staples to secure the sheet of support for this ground, I can assure the subfloor so if I can use this method? Any advice would be helpful. Please why the offer would or would not do it, simply is not unhelpful. THANK YOU!
