Card Display

Card Display
hiya,i want to know if i got a High Definition sound card and display, graphics or not?

I got Dell Latitude D520
15″ XGA screen
SIGMATEL STAC 92XX C-Major HD Audio
Intel GMA 945 Chipset and Intel GMA 950 Graphics Card
The Graphics Card and the Sound Card are integrated into the motherboard.
I just want to know if those three parts are high definition or not.
Meaning is my sound card, display, graphics card is high definition or not.
Thanks

High def is quite ambiguous… most PCs before HD became popular already had monitors of a higher resolution than HD…

Any computer thats displays more than 1280 × 720 could be considered HD, if u wanna check it should be in ur PCs tech specs, or go and check in display propperties (google it if u cant find it)

HD Audio is anything above 88.1 KHz sampling rate (CDs are 44.1KHz i believe) but it next to impossible to tell the difference in quality

Standard definition which normal TVs play is a very low resolution (480 pixels) – if u pause a DVD on your laptop it will look blurred, thats cus its a much lower resolution than that of your laptop
