Calligraphy Metallic
Calligraphy Metallic
Islamic Calligraphy opinions?
Do you think Metallic Acrylic paint and oil paint would look nice together. Or Regular Acrilic paint with metallic acrylic paint. Or oil paint with regular acrylic paint?
And what do you think about islamic calligraphy? Do you think it looks nice? I need your opinion about it
If by Islamic calligraphy you mean religious, then it doesn’t really matter if it looks nice as it has religious meaning. If you mean ARABIC, then yes, it is very beautiful and it can be distorted in exciting ways. Last year I went to the British Museum to see Middle Eastern artworks including Arabic calligraphy , both religious and secular. Yesterday I went to the British Library, to see the Sacred exhibition, displaying books and other artefacts by scribes from the Jewish, Christian and Muslim faiths. Wonderful. The previous answer is correct – don’t mix oil and acrylic – acrylic would be a better medium for calligraphy, but be careful to rinse your brush and pen carefully.
Mechanisms used in a pen
In the early years of the ink tanks are filled with dropper, but this was a difficult process, but the advantage of this pen was that it would contain more ink than any other automatic filling of the pen. Next I used that generation filled bags were made of rubber to hold the ink. The bag is squeezed and released to fill in the ink. In 1901 the crescent of Conklin filling was presented to the public, was the first mass production of self-filling pens.
The mechanism used in the filling Cresent feather: it has a crescent-shaped arc attached to the metal bar high pressure, the crescent section of stream from the holder by means of a bar pressure and the slot in the barrel. The second component has a rubber ring semi circular drive located between the barrel and crescent. The ring is used to block semicircular ring to push down. To recharge the pen the user only has to turn the ring around the barrel to the C-shaped ring coincides with the gap inside the ring. This lets you push down the crescent and compress the internal sac.
In 1950 a new cartridge plastic ink was introduced. In the early 1820s piston filler screw mechanism into effect. This system was widely used only when Pelican was introduced in 1929. The basic mechanism that uses a simple key in the bottom of the pen and a piston is made with the barrel of a screw mechanism, which helps to suck the ink. In 1949, the filling touch the ground has been made by Sheaffer, had a handle on the bottom of the barrel which can be removed and plunger can pull the total length. The pen tip is embedded in the ink container, the plunger was pushed in compresses and then releases the ink sac due to pressure sir.
