Business Credit Name
Someone not associated with my business but use my name for the company to seek work, apply for Credit Cards, etc.

What should I do? it even posted a website claiming to be one and only employee of my business.

Have you registered your trade name or dba with your local municipality? Does sales certificate with your state comptroller office? If you have not done that, then there could be anything you can do unless the person is using real company as a reference source (ie the Credit Card companies send you the bill.) If you have registered, then you may want contact the credit bureaus, a lawyer, and the local FBI office saying that you believe someone has committed identity theft. This will only work if and only if you are using your actual business location, telephone, address, etc. .. as a reference source. Otherwise, the person can claim your business and your business are not linked to in any way and that the two companies in different industries altogether.
