Can a party cable for AC power for a laptop that blue screen?

My AC adapter has a broken wire (Ie, the part where you insert the cable is damaged but still charge the laptop), I wondered if this is the reason I'm getting the screen blue. I am currently trying to have my new windows installed and my battery is empty.

Not likely – you are probably looking for a hardware problem – perhaps bad RAM.
