Did Mass. have state coins in 1787? Can you ID this coin?

I have a coin that on one side has the Native American with a bow and an arrow and a star that is one the MA state flag to the left side of the man it says “COMMON” and to the right it says “WEALTH” . . .
on the opposite side there is an eagle with arrows in one foot and an olive branch in the other, below that it says “1787″ and curved around the top edge it says “MASSACHUSETTS”

Any help would be great!

Massachusetts in 1787 and 1788 struck 1/2 cents and cents. The only problem is there are a lot of restrikes and down right fakes out there. It would have to be taken to a coin dealer who knows his colonials or submitted to say ANACS to have them authenticate it. It will cost you. You can go to www.anacs.com for info. No one these days buys colonials without them being authenticated and put in to a slab (holder). If your coin looks to new without any wear, the chances are it is not real. If you do try a dealer or two, make sure they know what they are doing, for modern coin dealers know little about colonial coins. There are different varieties and some of them are very rare.

Camping in Jiuzhaigou, China famous National Park

Autumn is perhaps China's most precious season, a respite between sweltering summers and winters fatal. However, only in the mountains of northern Sichuan Jiuzhaigou, a country of natural wonders of China, where the fall can be witnessed in all its glory burning.

Approaching Gully nine villages near the border of Gansu, one may at first be daunted by the chaos of tour groups and bus convoys diesel incessant not unlike the way prisons through the intimidation of crowds with deafening blasts of the horn. He calmed down, however, anyone with a Red Hat following a flag and megaphone surely does not have the same itinerary as a more independent-minded visitor.

While that Jiuzhaigou is a massive 720 square meters, you can feel the full force of the nature reserve in a two-day pass. Keep an eye out for the little-used roads in the evening the vegetation is in the opposition side of the main street in Zaru gully near the park entrance.

With the roar of the tour busses segueing into a score of birdsong and black exhaust becoming crisp breathable air, the natural reserve earnings quietly in a Y-shaped canyon of virgin forest that would redden a girl from Chongqing. Not unlike vertical forests, green broadleaf palisades dripping with lichen and turning a muted crimson and gold for autumn ultimately dissolve into the sky as one is led deeper into the forest.

Drinking in the damp sweetness, the dense forests in the ravine Nuorilang suddenly went through the star attraction of the region: prismatic lakes ranging in size from small-sized dragon ponds and covering color spectrum of blue ice falling apple green. Formed by glacial erosion and fed by underground springs, the phosphorescent phenomena is attributed to algae and the concentration of minerals, though a poet laureate might otherwise be inspired to write of the mint blue waters as the mouthwash of the gods.

When dusk approaches, the park is rapidly evacuated of all visitors. While most will return to the neon tourist circus outside the entrance, assiduous traveler can skirt the rules (and security guards) to spend the night with friendly locals living on the ground. Home of the Aba Tibetan and Qiang minorities autonomous peoples and Zechawa Schuzheng in the center of the park, and the smallest Heiji anorexia and villages to the north, are themselves a cultural draw.

Alba before that the crowd is more like an epiphany, gentle winds whispering through the reeds of the lake as revelations of nature itself. Readers with a special affinity for the quiet corridors can be seen behind the Swan and lakes seldom crossed the ravine Zangmalonghe Grass in spite of the quiet beauty of the area is, in fact, no secret at all, "Jet Li's Hero 'was filmed at Arrow Bamboo Lake.

The teal twilight of the water and then disappears into wetland placid before his spectacular debut pearl banks cascading into a series of multi-level falls so dazzling that any passerby might exclaim wosei! without even notice.

The resonance of the waterfall becomes a murmur as the voyeur descends from the torrential waters alive pastures of lavender, purple and yellow wildflowers. Moving from Rize gully for the park exit, take a breath of air last fall pristine Jiuzhaigou.

Getting There:
Connecting flights from Beijing / Shanghai-Chengdu-Jiuzhaigou 2420-3220 RMB airports
Accommodation:
The Sheraton is located 1.5 km from the entrance of park (600 to 1.700 RMB per night).
Where to eat:
Eat with the friendly locals living in Jiuzhaigou – Tibetan yak meat is a must try.
Where play:
The nature reserve, of course! two-day park passes cost RMB 220.
Extras:
Instead subtropical and temperate zones, there are over 2000 endemic varieties flora, including algae incredibly obvious blue-green, vibrant rhododendrons and orchids. The species of pine, maple, pine and birch are especially spectacular in autumn. Jiuzhaigou altitudinal range and rich vegetation directly contribute to the life of the region's unique animal, with 140 species of birds and mammals such as deer, most for the elusive golden snub-nosed monkey and Ailuropoda melanoleuca, known as the giant panda. An innate isolated creature requiring an undisturbed habitat, spotting a wild giant feeding the panda in the bamboo forest park is difficult but not impossible, for people who choose to walk instead of taking a tour bus.
